At the Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang camp for disabled children in Ashford, CT, two 1500 gallon dose chambers are "slaved" together to simultaneously dose seventeen 3" outlets. The small Flout (inset) sends liquid to the two large Flouts which turn on at the same time. The large pipe between the chambers equalize the liquid level. The pipe running top to bottom of photo is the effluent line to the existing fields. The line will terminate in the left hand chamber. Seventeen individual lines will then connect to the field. This arrangement will dose equally to nearly 1/2 mile of leaching chambers without any distribution boxes. Donald Smith Jr., PE, Seymour, CT. Concrete by Richard Septic Systems, Inc.
